Here’s the Bloody Funny Trailer for Simon Pegg’s Horror-Comedy Slaughterhouse Rulez

If you’re looking for a good, old fashioned horror-comedy to sink your teeth into this upcoming Halloween, you won’t do better than Simon Pegg and Nick Frost’s latest collaboration—provided the film eventually finds its way to our shores. The first trailer for their Slaughterhouse Rulez is here, and it’s a riot of Harry Potter (via the cliques that read, to us anyway, almost like the various houses within Howgarts) meets Stranger Things with a dash of School of Rock and even a pinch of  Jurassic Park for good measure.

How They Shot That Epic Bathroom Fight Scene in Mission: Impossible — Fallout

Mission: Impossible — Fallout was chock full of jaw-dropping moments. It had Tom Cruise in a motorcycle chase, flying a helicopter, and most importantly, saving the world from nuclear destruction — a pretty big deal if you ask us. The hands down best action franchise in Hollywood (thanks in no small part to stunt coordinator Wade Eastwood) has been delivering the goods for 20 years. But while each fresh spectacle was something to behold,

Jessica Chastain vs Eddie Redmayne in Serial Killer Movie The Good Nurse

There has arguably never been a serial killer as deadly as Charles Cullen. For 16-years Cullen used his profession as a nurse as the perfect cover to murder as many as 300 people, which is how he earned the gruesome moniker “The Angel of Death.” Cullen’s ghoulish, terrifying reign are the subject of Charles Graeber’s book “The Good Nurse,” and the story has long been looked at for its grim potential to build a film around.

Ruby Rose is Batwoman in the CW’s Groundbreaking new Series

We were cautiously optimistic when we heard that the CW was creating a Batwoman series based on the DC comics character Kate Kane. Now that we know Ruby Rose will be starring as the greatest Gotham hero not named Batman, we’re thrilled. The series isn’t 100% confirmed—first, Rose will be appearing in the networks’ annual Arrow-verse crossover event in December. If the introduction excites fans as much as the mere notion is exciting us, then the CW could be green lighting a Batwoman series for the 2019-2020 season.

Even Cable is Laughing at the New Deadpool 2 Gag Reel

How can you fit more profanity into a movie like Deadpool 2? Easy. Make more Deadpool 2.

That’s the game plan with the upcoming home release of the film, available exclusively on Digital today. Also available is the Super Duper Cut, an unrated version of the movie that has fifteen minutes of footage that weren’t in the theatrical release.

Entertainment Weekly provided the first look at Deadpool 2’s presumably extensive and certainly goofy gag reel.

Introducing the Brilliant Young Characters of The Darkest Minds

They’re young, angry, and can control your thoughts or use telekinesis to throw a car at you. No wonder their government is afraid of them.

The Darkest Minds began as a young adult novel by Alexandra Bracken. It quickly became a hit, and in less than three years, Bracken released two more novels to complete the trilogy. Last week, Arrival and Stranger Things producer Shawn Levy brought the narrative to the big screen with Kung Fu Panda 2 and 3 director Jennifer Yuh Nelson at the helm.

Legion Season 3 is in the Works, and it’s Only Getting Darker

The season finale of FX and Marvel’s Series Legion saw its protagonist, David, hit low points that only someone like Walter White would understand. And his downward spiral won’t be turning upward soon.

Dan Stevens’ David Haller, a mutant with psychic powers from the X-Men universe, has always been an antihero. He acts immorally because his grip on reality is shaky at best, and the Marvel comics more explicitly identify the multiple personalities—a legion of them—in his head.
