A New, Super Duper Cut of Deadpool 2 is on the Way

The Blu-ray and Digital release of 20th Century Fox’s Deadpool 2 is almost here, and it’s chock-full of awesome features.

The most exciting part of the release is the “Super Duper Cut,” an unrated version of the movie that has fifteen minutes of alternate and deleted scenes. Fox posted this video as an announcement.

The 4K and Blu-ray editions come with a plethora of features for the superfans out there, with the biggest being a theatrical version of the film with audio commentary by Ryan Reynolds, director David Leitch, and writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese. Here’s a list of what else is included:

•    Gag Reel

•    Deleted/Extended Scenes

•    Until Your Face Hurts: Alt Takes

•    Deadpool’s Lips are Sealed: Secrets and Easter Eggs

•    The Most Important X-Force Member

•    Deadpool Family Values: Cast of Characters

•    David Leitch Not Lynch: Directing DP2

•    Roll with the Punches: Action and Stunts

•    The Deadpool Prison Experiment

•    Chess with Omega Red

•    Swole and Sexy

•    “3-Minute Monologue”

•    Deadpool’s Fun Sack 2

•    Stills (28 Images)

Particularly interesting is the “Secrets and Easter Eggs” feature, which might point out some of the movie’s hidden gems that even the most astute of Marvel fans might have missed. “Chess with Omega Red” is another exciting one. While comic book supervillain Omega Red didn’t make it into the theatrical cut of Deadpool 2, it looks like he may actually make an appearance in the “Super Duper Cut,” or maybe even just in this extra feature. The outtake follows “The Deadpool Prison Experiment,” which could indicate that Omega Red was in the Ice Box prison facility featured in the theatrical cut.

If you’re looking for some workout tips, then maybe “Swole and Sexy” is the feature for you. Odds are it’s either about the workout regimen of the cast members or the making of the pure physical inspiration of the mass of muscle that is Colossus.

Deadpool will allows himself into your living room via Digital HD on August 7, and 4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD on August 21.
