When you wake up this Christmas morning, Deadpool will be waiting under your tree. Yeah, that doesn’t sound too appealing, does it? Let me rephrase. /Film spoke with screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick about a new and teen approved version of Deadpool 2. What is Katherine Langford’s Mystery Avengers 4 Role?

While we have been focusing on all of the characters lost in Avengers: Infinity War, a new cast member was secretly being added. Marvel is famous for hiding some major surprises – as long as their own cast doesn’t blurt any spoilers. They are even good at giving hints that we still can’t figure out. However, no one was expecting TheWrap to break the news that Katherine Langford has joined the cast of Avengers 4.

The Cast of The Nutcracker and the Four Realms Gushes Over the Costume Design

“There’s one side of acting that I have always loved, and that’s the costume side,” Dame Helen Mirren professes in a new featurette for The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. And she has worn some fantastic ones from Mike O’Neill’s designs for Elizabeth I to the Excalibur costumes designed by Bob Ringwood. Her ensemble for Mother Ginger in The Nutcracker and the Four Realms may be her most fanciful yet.

Listen to a Piece of Hans Zimmer’s Score for Steven McQueen’s Widows

Steven McQueen’s Widows is one of this fall’s must-see films. One of the most thrilling heist movies in recent memory, Widows boasts an exceptional cast, a killer script from Sharp Objects and Gone Girl writer Gillian Flynn and McQueen, and, not for nothing, a subtle, potent score from the legendary Hans Zimmer. As wrote this past September, when you see McQueen’s brilliant crime drama,

Fans Spot a Potential New Clue in that Avengers 4 Image

More than a month has passed since the Russo Brothers dropped that cryptic image on the set of Avengers 4 with a supposed hidden clue in sight. The black and white image seems to be pretty devoid of any recognizable MCU imagery, but there is still a lot to look at. People were counting the shapes that made the letter “A,” trying to make out hidden words, and zooming in on Joe Russo’s computer screen.

Star Trek Getting an Animated Makeover from Rick and Morty Writer

The most delightfully nerdy event in the nerdy history of Star Trek may be what nerded today. CBS All Access has picked up two seasons of a new animated series call Star Trek: Lower Decks. As the title may imply, the stars of the series will be the most mundane among the ship. Rick and Morty writer and Star Trek superfan, Mike McMahan, will helm the project,

Liam Neeson is a Deadly Snowplow Driver in First Cold Pursuit Trailer

“What makes you think you can kill a man?” William Forsythe’s character asks Nels Coxman (Liam Neeson) at the start of the Cold Pursuit trailer. The question no doubt makes sense within the plot of the film (Nels isn’t some former assassin or ex-cop, he’s a snowplow driver), but it also serves as a winking nod to the fact that Neeson has become, somewhat unexpectedly at first, the most bankable action-star not named Dwayne Johnson in the business,

Watch Taron Egerton Train to Be a Master Archer in Robin Hood

I am here today to confess that I owe the cast and crew of Robin Hood an apology. Ever since the first trailer was released, I never stopped to consider that the arrow action could be remotely realistic, much less real. There is a lot of jumping, spinning, and fire throwing going on, so I didn’t imagine Taron Egerton was slinging any actual arrows. Turns out, I was wrong. The archery consultant for the film,

The Vietnam War Sound Designer on Enhancing Emotional Memories of the War

The Vietnam War was a harrowing conflict with ramifications that spread far from the fighting. It was the most divisive war of the 20th century that haunted veterans and civilians alike for decades. Cameras captured the brutal battles with unprecedented access. Piecing together hundreds of hours of archival footage and interviews with survivors, celebrated documentarians Ken Burns and Lynn Novick assembled an intimate portrait of the horror and humanity of the war. The Vietnam War created an illusion of immersion that demanded reconstruction of scenes with no or low-quality sound and gripping witness accounts.
