New Ready Player One Trailer is an 80s Video Gamer’s Dream

Ready Player One looks like the ultimate video game dreamscape of any 80s kid, and probably the future of every kid born after 2015. The latest trailer dives deeper into the objective of the game and shows off a fantastic virtual Nirvana.

The action takes place in the “OASIS”, a virtual reality world created by the recently deceased James Halliday (Mark Rylance). Game development is to these kids what chocolate was to Augustus Gloop.

Melissa McCarthy Runs the Campus in Life of the Party

College would have been a whole lot better if Melissa McCarthy had been there. “Dee Rock” (McCarthy) is the funniest student on campus in the first Life of the Party trailer. She’s hip, wise, and totally outrageous. If your mom is going to follow you to your coed parties, she’s the mom you would want to have.

McCarthy and her husband, Ben Falcone, have teamed up to mine McCarthy’s golden comedic timing once again.

A Bigger, Scarier, Smarter New Mutant Dinosaur Threatens Jurassic World

Owen Grady’s (Chris Pratt) loveable charm gave Jurassic World an endearing lightness. In the original series, the animals were treated like imprisoned science experiments. Owen loves the raptors and treats them with respect. That will solve everything and make Jurassic Park totally safe, right? Nope, still giant man-eating reptiles.

The comedic levity of the most recent installment seems to have been squashed like a greedy reptile breeder under a T-Rex foot.

Which Would You Pick in This Deadly Game of Truth or Dare?

Truth or dare, spin the bottle, seven minutes in heaven, and many more are party games we have all grown up on for generations. In the awkward sea of our teenage years, they all seemed pretty scary at the time, but weren’t likely to be deadly. The players in Blumhouse’s Truth or Dare might not be so lucky.

The first trailer for the film lays out a sort of It Follows scenario in which you have to pass along the curse to keep it from coming back for you.
