We’ve finally got some details for Bond 25 (yet no title yet). The film’s producers filled us in on casting, story details, and filming locations during a live event from the Goldeneye estate in Jamaica. Yup, Goldeneye is, in fact, a real place—it’s where Ian Fleming wrote the James Bond novels. Today, it functioned as the epicenter of all things Bond 25.

Here’s what we’ve known for a while. Daniel Craig is, of course,...

Worlds Collide in two new Men in Black: International Trailers

If you’re going to reboot a franchise, it’s always a good idea to do so with two immensely talented, likable stars. Enter Thor: Ragnarok co-stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson. Their onscreen chemistry was one of the (many) reasons Taiki Waititi’s Ragnarok was the best Thor film and one of the funniest Marvel films ever. It’s a Whole New World in Fresh Aladdin Spot

If you can watch this new Aladdin TV spot without breaking into song, you’re made of stouter stuff than we are. This fresh look at Guy Ritchie’s live-action remake delivers a snippet of the classic song “A Whole New World,” making it very difficult (for some) to not join along. The spot also illuminates Naomi Scott’s stellar vocal chops.

This means we can now gauge the full breadth of what critics are saying. The Final Godzilla: King of the Monsters Trailer is a Beast

Director Michael Dougherty’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters offers bigger, meaner monsters for the single price of a movie ticket. Gareth Edwards reintroduced the king of the monsters to the big screen in 2014’s Godzilla, which also had a bunch of other monsters in it. Yet Edwards’ film was more of a gorgeously rendered and evocatively staged epic, whereas Doughtery’s movie feels like a full blown monster mash. The final trailer suggests that Dougherty and all involved have let the titular Titans loose in every possible way...

Spider-Man: Far From Home Will end Marvel’s Phase 3

You’d be forgiven for assuming that Avengers: Endgame would be the official end to Marvel’s Phase 3. The upcoming epic conclusion to the Avengers’ years-in-the-making battle with Thanos seems like the obvious capper to this Marvel phase. Yet, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has revealed this isn’t the case. The final film in Phase 3 is Jon Watts’ Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Newsweek reported that Feige revealed the news at a press event for Endgame in Shanghai...

John Cena up for Role in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad

The cast for James Gunn‘s The Suicide Squad is starting to shape up. When news broke that Will Smith wouldn’t be reprising his role as Deadshot, Suicide Squad fans were understandably concerned. Then we found out that Idris Elba would be taking over the role, and all seemed right in the world. What’s more, Elba’s version of Deadshot would be a more conflicted sort, which is saying something...

Abrams’ upcoming Star Wars: Episode IX until the celebration kicked off in Chicago on April 11. In short order, we found out a bunch. The Final Trailer for Dark Phoenix Gets Cosmic

“Ladies and gentleman of NASA, this is Charles Xavier. Help is on the way.”

While the X-Men have always done their level best to help humanity, the results rarely work in their favor. They’re still mistrusted, loathed and feared by millions. They’re forever battling a war of perceptions, if not actual wars —often against fellow mutants led by Magneto (Michael Fassbender). And now, in the case of Dark Phoenix, their best-laid plans to help save a crew of astronauts results in a game-changing metamorphosis for one of their own...

Rey’s Parents Will be Revealed in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

The reveal that Rey (Daisy Ridley)’s parents were nobodies in Rian Johnson’s The Last Jedi was astonishing. Some fans were apocalyptic (for muddled reasons, if you ask me), while we found the twist satisfying in all the right ways. It meant that her uniqueness and abilities weren’t born from some royal, Jedi lineage. The film positioned her strength of character and emerging abilities as a product of who she was,...

The Final Avengers: Endgame Trailer is Emotional & Epic

“Heroes. It’s an old fashioned notion.”

These words come from the late Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), who perished in the post-credits scene in Avengers: Infinity War in the midst of sending one very important message. The final trailer for Avengers: Endgame is a chills-inducing epic for any fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It connects the marquee films in the MCU’s decade-long, 22-film arc, building to the emotional—and for some characters possibly final—fight of their lives...

Emperor Palpatine’s Mysterious Return in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

The most shocking revelation in the trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker came at the very end. While we were in the midst of digesting the title (!!) and the shots of Rey flipping backward over Kylo Ren’s customized TIE-Fighter, the trailer ended with a very familiar laugh—that of Emperor Palpatine. The long-dead–or so we thought—Palpatine was last seen, chronologically speaking, getting thrown down a shaft to his by Darth Vader in Return of the Jedi. ...
