What Does Arya’s Reunion With her Direwolf Nymeria Mean for Game of Thrones
The Starks have long been poster children for misfortune and loss, outdone perhaps only by their direwolves. Of the original six that were found by Robb Stark in the first season of Game of Thrones, four of the direwolves have been killed off. Often used as symbols for various members of the Stark family, the mythical wolves have be subject to much abuse, ending up dead more often than not.
Last season alone saw the deaths of two of the direwolves,
Is There a Secret Hidden in Game of Thrones‘ Opening Credits?
If you think the Emmy-winning title sequence of Game of Thrones is simply a pretty recap of Westeros geography, think again. It is well-known by now that the locations featured in the opening credits change each week based upon what takes place in the following episode. But with Season 7 underway, some eagle-eyed viewers (with a h/t to Buzzfeed for finding them) have noticed some landscape changes that could have big implications for show.
How Emmy Nominated Queen Sugar and 13th DP Kira Kelly is Breaking the Mold
It was a no brainer for cinematographer Kira Kelly to take the call when director Ava DuVernay sought her out. The project they initially discussed didn’t pan out, but Kelly was soon tapped for DuVernay’s stirring documentary 13th. Kelly’s mesmerizing work was the perfect fit for the high pressure interviewees she filmed and earned her an Emmy nomination alongside her co-DP Hans Charles. Following the success of 13th, DuVernay brought Kelly on to season two of her hit show Queen Sugar.

Game of Thrones Recap: “Stormborn”
Well, Game of Thrones season seven has their first official villain (not counting Cersei, or the Night’s King, or the ice giant Wun Wun), and it’s Euron Greyjoy. Granted, in Westeros, “bad” is mostly relative, but when someone comes around who really likes killing, your Ramsay Boltons or your Mountains, you can credibly chalk them up in the villain category, and Euron Greyjoy is most certainly a villain. The second episode of the seventh episode,

New Game of Thrones “Stormborn” Images Hint at Questions of Trust
Game of Thrones‘ season 7 premiere, “Dragonstone,” set the table in a major way. It gave us Arya’s quest towards King’s Landing, stopping off at House Frey to put an end to Walder Frey’s entire lineage. It supplied some major tension within King’s Landing between Cersei and Jaime, as well as some tart repartee between Jon Snow and Sansa in Winterfell over how best to prepare for the coming war.
Game of Thrones Showrunners’ Next Series at HBO is Confederate
While we prepare for the end of Game of Thrones, we’ve braced ourselves with the comforting news that there are up to four potential Game of Thrones spinoffs/prequels being written. This thought has been like a summer day in High Garden while we face down the dead of winter that is the show’s end.
While GOT may likely live on in some version, what we’ve also known is that series’ showrunners Dan Weiss and David Benioff are likely going to move on from any day-to-day decision making with whatever GOT-related shows come next.
Game of Thrones Season 7 Premiere was Shown in a Moscow Subway Station
Russia has a bit of a recent tortured history with Game of Thrones. On the one hand, clearly people love the show over there. How do we know? Some 350 Muscovites showed up at the Mayakovskaya subway station in central Moscow to watch the premiere, the metro press service reported. It’s part of the city’s Night in Moscow’s Metro cultural project, with several events each year. Amediateka, Game of Thrones’ distributor in Russia,

Sheeran found himself at the heart of another summer sensation when he appeared in the season 7 premiere of Game of Thrones last night. Sheeran, playing a Lannister soldier, shared the screen with fan-favorite Arya Stark (played by Maisie Williams,
Six Crucial Questions Raised by Game of Thrones‘ Season 7 Premiere
At long last, we are hurtling into the final episodes of Game of Thrones. Though fans could hardly expect answers to the heftier questions posed in Season 6 (and earlier seasons) to be answered in the first episode of Season 7, we were gifted with an intense look at the new world order that exists in the aftermath of the Season 6 finale. With new information, however, comes a hoard of new questions.

The 13th Doctor is in, and after 54 years and 12 previous iterations, your doctor is a woman. Broadchurch’s Jodie Whittaker will be stepping in for current Doctor Peter Capaldi after he leaves the show after this year’s Christmas special, giving Doctor Who a thrilling new reason to re-engage with the show next season.
BBC made the announcement yesterday, with this accompanying teaser of a hooded figure walking through a forest towards the TARDIS.
Game of Thrones Recap: Season Seven Premiere “Dragonstone”
When Game of Thrones season seven premiere began, we saw a familiar, craggy face staring at us; the raping, disgusting visage of Walder Frey. This was odd, considering the last time we saw this ripe lump of lechery, he was being crossed off Arya Stark’s revenge list with a knife across his throat, the youngest Stark smiling down at him, fulfilling the promise she made to herself that her face would be the last he’d ever see.
How Might Someone Kill Daenerys’ Dragons?
It has been a long and winding road – or rather flight – for Daenerys’ dragons since we saw them hatch in the finale of Game of Thrones’ first season. Powerful from the first, the dragons’ growth since then has only reinforced perceptions of Dany’s invincibility. Audiences have seen them wreak massive damage with only a single burst of flame. As Dany draws steadily nearer her goal of conquering Westeros,
