Jordan Peele Developing TV Series About Nazi Hunters
After writing and directing the critical and commercial smash Get Out, Jordan Peele had his choice of next projects, and now it looks like one of those (he’s got a few in the works) will find the multi-talented star returning to TV, writing and directing a period thriller called The Hunt.
The show, inspired by true events, will follow Nazi hunters in the 1970s on the warpath for retribution.
Fifth Game of Thrones Prequel in Development at HBO
When you have a series as popular and beloved as Game of Thrones, it makes sense that you’d like to extend the story beyond the original series. It’s made doubly sensible for HBO considering George R. R. Martin’s multi-volume series is so richly detailed, with backstories and a sprawling history that amounts to several potential TV series worth of material. HBO was already considering four different GoT prequels once
Behold the Brutal First Trailer for The Punisher

As to be expected, The Punisher may exist in the same universe as the other Marvel characters we know and love,
It’s Happening: Damon Lindelof Teases Image From his Watchmen HBO Series
For those of us (and there are a lot of us) who adore “Watchmen,” the groundbreaking graphic novel by Alan Moore and artist Dave Gibbons, we’ve long thought the best medium for the material would be a TV series. Zack Snyder gave the material his best shot with his 2009 feature film, but there’s just too much good stuff, and weirdness, in the source material to fit into a film. This is why word that Damon Lindelof,
Architect Who Inspired The Jetsons Passes Away
Ever wonder where Hanna-Barbera animators got their vision for the futuristic world of The Jetsons? A lot of the inspiration came from the forward thinking architectural designs of Gin Wong. Wong passed away this month at the age of 94.
Wong emigrated from China at the age of 9. He eventually worked his way up to become president of highly respected Pereira & Associates architectural firm.
The Jetsons first aired in 1962 as Wong was making his mark on Los Angeles.

Frank Castle Goes Full Rambo in new The Punisher Teaser
Netflix has kept details about their upcoming Daredevil spinoff, The Punisher, under lock and key. This is why this new teaser is so intriguing, as it gives us a glimpse of Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle in a brief but grisly sequence, that ends with Frank Castle telling the camera (which was attached to the helmet of a soldier who had been hunting him), “I’m coming for you.”
The shaky,

Watch Chapter 1 of an Animated History of Game of Thrones

Westworld‘s Emmy-Nominated Cinematographer on the Park’s Sinister Secrets
HBO’s Westworld hypnotized viewers this year. The titular park was a literal tourist trap, offering the well-heeled the opportunity to live out any fantasy without consequence, until the hosts get other ideas. Inspired by Michael Crichton’s 1973 film, the reboot was a hit featuring the clean, calm lines of the welcome center contrasted with the gritty Wild West themed park. Cinematographer Paul Cameron (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales) disrupted the serene pretense upheld by the park’s producers to deliver a sense of foreboding about the sinister secrets within.
5 Records that could be broken at the Emmy Awards
Last year, Game of Thrones broke the record for most Emmy Award wins for a primetime show. The show has won 38 awards over the course of its first six seasons, beating the record once set by Frasier, which earned 37 awards over the course of its 11-season run. Game of Thrones also holds the record for most Emmy wins for a single season.
Game of Thrones to Shoot Multiple Endings to Ward off Spoilers
Even more dasterdly than the Night King and his entire army of the dead are the people who will stop at nothing to ruin Game of Thrones for the rest of us. Another way to look at the news that HBO is planning on shooting multiple endings to Game of Thrones is that its just an example of extreme caution, making sure that any member of the cast or crew who may accidentally (or otherwise) let slip how the world of Westeros is left once the last episode is over can’t spoil the show for the rest of us.

Creative Arts Emmy Awards: SNL, Stranger Things & Westworld win big
The Creative Arts Emmy Awards, spread over two nights, bestowed a bevy of awards to perennial powerhouse HBO (19!), but also had a lot of love for Netflix (16) and NBC (9) for what was another very strong year on the small screen. It shouldn’t be surprising that NBC’s Saturday Night Live was a big winner, with five awards, thanks to a ton of attention to show’s lampooning of the 2016 presidential election and standout,
The Deuce Costume Designer on Dressing the Pimps & Working Girls of 1970s Times Square
When it came to crafting an authentic look for the Times Square hustlers at the center of HBO’s birth-of-pornography series The Deuce (debuting Sunday), costume designer Anna Terrazas enjoyed an invaluable resource in the person of show co-creator George Pelecanos. Long before he teamed with David Simon (The Wire) to produce this 1971 period piece, Pelecanos sold shoes. “George used to work in a shoe store in the seventies,
