You have to hand it to Netflix—they are not timid when it comes to keeping their cards very, very close to their chest. If you're keeping count, that means Netflix is letting the world know about the show a mere four days before its premiere.
Inside the Epic Finale of Westworld
We'll have to wait until 2018 to find out how the thrilling events in Westworld's epic 90-minute finale, "The Bicameral Mind" play out. Obviously, if you haven't seen the finale, stop reading.
If there's one thing that seemed apparent throughout the entirety of Westworld's first season, it was that Dr. Ford (Anthony Hopkins) was always several moves ahead of everyone else. It was apparent in nearly every scene he was in,
Drink Like a Game of Thrones Character
Of all the guilty pleasures provided by HBO's juggernaut Game of Thrones, one has been making of yourself a Tyrion (or a less lethal Cersei) and enjoying a glass or two of wine while watching the show. For all the dragons, swords, betrayal, sex, and death depicted over the course of the show's wild six seasons, one of the other constants has been drinking. Tyrion drinks (a lot), as does Cersei,
Westworld: The Truth About Bernard
If you haven't seen last week's episode of Westworld, "The Well-Tempered Clavier," stop reading now.
Still here? Fantastic. Let's dig in.
One of this season's biggest reveals was that Bernard Lowe (Jeffrey Wright), the menschy, brilliant programmer and number two to Dr. Ford (Anthony Hopkins), is a robot. The revelation came in the gut-wrenching coda to an episode in which he dispatched his love interest Theresea (Sidse Babett Knudsen) at the behest of Ford,
One DP Visualizes Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and now Iron Fist
He’s the go to cinematographer for Marvel's crop of Netflix shows, focusing on a new breed of super-flawed superheroes. First Manuel Billeter filmed private eye Jessica Jones in muted tones appropriate to her downbeat Hell's Kitchen environs. Then he showcased Harlem as backdrop for the bullet-proof ex-con with a mission in Luke Cage. And now, Billeter's serving as director of photographer for martial arts thriller Iron Fist,
Inside Westworld‘s Game-Changing Scene
Did you catch last week's episode of Westworld? If not, read no further—spoiler alert.
Okay, so you caught the seventh episode of Westworld this past Sunday, and perhaps you had a similar experience to one people across the country felt as Theresa (Sidse Babett Knudsen) was flipping through some robot designs in Dr. Ford's (Anthony Hopkins) secret lab—no, please no, anyone but Bernard (Jeffrey Wright). When Theresa shows Bernard the schematic she's found—a robot that looks
Hair & Makeup: Meet the People who Transform SNL Stars
Saturday Night Live is an institution, and that's always felt particularly keenly during presidential election years. This season, of course, we've witnessed Kate McKinnon and Alec Baldwin transform into Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Their performances have been, in short, hysterical. The nuances of their impersonations, from McKinnon's compassionate take on Hillary's struggles with connecting with audiences, and Baldwin's spot-on physical incarnation of Trump (the pursed lips,

Netflix Horror I am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House Debuts Trailer
There’s been a lot of bad stuff happening in houses this year. The Conjuring 2 and Don’t Breathe come to mind, for example. Those are houses we wouldn’t want to spend a single minute in. And now, right before Halloween, Netflix is releasing Oz Perkins’s (yup, he is in deed the son of Anthony) horror film I Am The Pretty Thing That Lives in the House, which will debut on October 28.
The Walking Dead Premiere as Brutal as Promised
Obviously spoiler alert. If you haven't watched the season 7 premiere, stop reaidng now.
Still here? Great. Still feel a little sick from last night's episode? Yeah, us too. Just as Lennie James told us when we interviewed him, The Walking Dead's season 7 premiere was absolutely brutal. As had been hinted at before, Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) doesn't just kill one beloved member of Rick's (Andrew Lincoln) crew,
Let Comedy Icon John Cleese Explain The Walking Dead to you
The long awaited season 7 premiere for The Walking Dead is nigh—this Sunday, October 23. While we’ve written extensively about how brutal the premiere is going to be (we interviewed actor Lennie James, who plays Morgan, and he warned us about it, then Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who plays the homicidal Negan, went on the radio and he warned people about it), we haven’t gone back over the first six seasons for those of you who haven’t been paying attetnion.
Showtime Releases Twin Peaks Revival Featurette
There's been much to celebrate on TV already this fall, including HBO's sci-fi western epic Westworld and it's new comedy series from Issa Rae, Insecure, to Netflix's Stranger Things and Luke Cage, Fox's Pitch and ABC's Designated Survivor. We love bold, new original work as much as the next TV lover. With that said, we're also huge, huge fans of one particular project;
Darren Fung on Scoring The Great Human Odyssey
Composer Darren Fung’s sweeping score for PBS’ The Great Human Odyssey earned him a Canadian Screen Award for best music, but he almost didn’t take the project on. When anthropologist Dr. Niobe Thompson first approached Fung about the job, the response was unsure. “In all honesty, I kind of thought when Niobe had his vision of what the music was going to be, he couldn’t afford it,” Fung remembered.
Rick’s Met his Match in Season 7 of The Walking Dead
Yesterday we shared this brutal promo for season 7 of The Walking Dead. It showed the direct aftermath of season 6's finale, moments after Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) killed one of the show's longstanding characters. While speculation on who (and it coudl be more than one person) Negan dispatched with his barbed wire covered bat, Lucielle, has been intense, what we've been reminding readers is that the premiere promises to about a lot more than just that one reveal.

As we’ve discussed before, lots of people were viscerally upset after The Walking Dead’s cliffhanger season 6 finale. Now with the new sneak peek that AMC dropped at New York Comic-Con, we don’t imagine people are going to be any less emotional.
The new clip begins directly after Negan (Jeffery Dean Morgan) dispatched one of the show’s bigger stars. Dean himself admitted on the Erik Negal podcast had hard this has all been.
Atticus Shaffer Talks Growing Up on The Middle
Over the impressive seven season run of ABC’s The Middle, Brick has been the oft forgotten third child of Frankie (Patricia Heaton) and Mike Heck (Neil Flynn). His family has literally forgotten him at work and school, but actor Atticus Shaffer has become a fan favorite. A child actor no more (he just turned 18), Atticus has played Brick Heck since he was eight years old.
Socially awkward, book smart Brick is a sage and precocious observer who often teaches adults a life lesson or two.
