Suicide Squad Dishes out two new TV Spots
Suicide Squad is the gift that just keeps on giving. Warner Bros. dropped two brand-new TV spots for the film today, featuring a little more footage of Jared Leto’s highly-anticipated Joker.
These spots remind us that the best collection of antiheroes is the only group bad enough to get the job done. The allure of finally seeing Leto's Joker, who Warner Bros. has only given us the briefest glimpses of,

20th Century Fox has just dropped this Assassins' Creed behind-the-scenes featurette, revealing all-new footage. We're betting that the film is going to be a late December treat, coming a few days after Rogue One and a few days before the usual big Christmas day releases. With an outstanding cast and one of the most impressive young directors working in Justin Kurzel, Assassin's Creed is on our must-see list.
The film stars the two main leads who helped make Kurzel's adaptation of
Closer Look at Colossal Alien in Independence Day: Resurgence
For the first time (and just days before the film's June 24 release) 20th Century Fox has given us a closer look at the biggest, nastiest alien yet in Independence Day: Resurgence. Pause at the 0:22 second mark and you'll see her (or it)—with a face very much in keeping with the alien pilots we met in Independence Day 20 years ago, only this thing is twenty to thirty times the size.

Get ready to fall in love with Moana. Disney Animation Studios has revealed the first official trailer for the film, and it looks gorgeous, with a brand new princess for kids to fall for. This lovingly created CGI wonder fest sees Moana (voiced by Auli’i Cravalho) and the once-mighty demigod Maui (voiced by Dwayne Johnson) sail across the open ocean,
Two New Suicide Squad TV Spots
We honestly can't get enough of Suicide Squad. Warner Bros. has released the TV spots they showed during the NBA Finals in these high quality teasers on their YouTube page, which we've embeded below for your viewing pleasure.
For you newbies, Suicide Squad is written and directed by David Ayer (Fury, End of Watch), based on the DC comics tales of a group of super villains coming together to form the world's worst collection of heroes.
Watch This The Conjuring 2 Stunt Terrify Some Brazilians
Director James Wan worked with the Brazilian hidden camera prank show Câmera Escondida for this The Conjuring 2 stunt, which used scenes from the film to inspire some righteous scares. These people getting the fear of the devil put into them do not appear to be actors, even though you have to wonder what they thought was going to happen when they walked into a room that creepy, with a motionless woman in white heaped on the bed.
New Independence Day: Resurgence Trailer Debunks Major Conspiracy Theory
In every new Independence Day: Resurgence trailer or clip, the world has been in the process of being annihilated. So it's nice, on a Friday morning, to wake up to a little something like this; a David Levinson (Jeff Goldblum) v. Jeff Goldblum (who plays David Levinson) bit of silliness. For you Goldblum fans, this is going to be like manna from heaven. For those fo you eager to see Resurgence this June 24,
Suicide Squad‘s Second new Teaser: Worst Heroes Ever
We've already shared the first new teaser that Warner Bros. dropped for Suicide Squad last night during game three of the NBA Finals. Here's the second teaser they released, with a few new shots that we'll call (pun warning) eye-popping. What's the pun? Pause the teaser at the 9 second mark and you'll get the joke. At the 15 second mark, you'll find a cool shot of a helicopter releasing,
Blake Lively v. Great White in new The Shallows Trailer
The name of the game in The Shallows is self reliance. Ralph Waldo Emerson himself would likely agree that Nancy (Blake Lively) is the epitome of it. A strong, smart and resilient young woman who will need to summon everything she has to survive her predicament. This new trailer focuses on the film's central, intriguingly simple premise; Nancy is out surfing when she's separated from the beach (which is not more than 200 yards away) by a great white.
New Suicide Squad Teaser Reveals More Joker
During last night's game three of the NBA finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors (the Cavs won in a rout), Warner Bros. dropped a delicious new Suicide Squad teaser, giving us a bit more Joker (Jared Leto) than we've seen in the past. Leto recently spoke to Total Film about The Joker (a h/t to Digital Spy for pointing the way to this quote),
Happy Ghostbusters Day! Meet the new Ecto-1
It was 32 years ago today, on June 8, 1984, that the original Ghostbuters came out. So it's fitting we're celebrating the Ecto-1, one of the most iconic cars in film history, which was introduced in the original and has been revamped for the new film.
The old Ecto-1 had a 1959 Cadillac professional chassis, an ambulance/hearse combination. In the film, Dr. Ray Stantz (Dan Aykroyd) found the vehicle shortly after he mortgaged his mother's house to buy the Firehouse (which became Ghostbusters HQ).
This New The Conjuring 2 Clip Made us Jump
In this exclusive clip from The Conjuring 2, a child in north London makes the mistake of assuming a toy fire truck that rolls to a stop outside of his bedroom door means it's time to play. Kid, put down the truck and run. Director James Wan (Furious 7) at the helm following the crazy success of his 2013's The Conjuring,
New International Trailer for Ghostbusters Includes Freaky Mannequin
This new international trailer for Ghostbusters that Sony Pictures Japan just dropped gives us even more reason to be excited. We've already written about the largely hysterical (and not in a good way) reaction to an earlier trailer for the film, and why we remain very excited about the July 15th release. You've got a great director in Paul Feig (with a script he co-wrote with Kate Dippold),
Learning to Hunt in new Independence Day: Resurgence Clip
With the June 23 release date just around the corner, 20th Century Fox is giving us a new Independence Day: Resurgence clip every day or so. The latest features Jeff Goldblum's scientist David Levinson and Charlotte Gainsbourg's Dr. Catherine Marceaux finding a potential key ally in their coming war against the aliens. We've also included a comparison of the cover of the 20th anniversary DVD for the original Independence Day and the theatrical poster for the new film.
Check out the Epic new IMAX The Legend of Tarzan Trailer
Warner Bros. Pictures and IMAX have released a new extended The Legend of Tarzan IMAX trailer, and it's epic. From David Yates (a man who knows how to build suspense and direct action—he's responsible for the last four Harry Potter films), the new take on Tarzan stars Alexander Skarsgård (True Blood, Battleship) alongside a seriously great cast that also includes Margot Robbie, Samuel L. Jackson,
New Independence Day: Resurgence Teaser Showcases Alpha Alien
In this new teaser for Independence Day: Resurgence, we finally get a good look at what we believe is the alpha alien, possibly the film's big bad (and the mother of all aliens) in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it (but you don't want to miss it) moment. Pause the teaser at the 9 second mark in the teaser and you'll see her (we're assuming it's a her); a very nasty looking being that's a little like a cross between the Predator and the mean mother that Sigourney Weaver battles in the original
Independence Day: Resurgence Presents Hybrid Alien Technology
"Consumers now enjoy the benefits of innovations like the nano drone spy. It's tiny, it's real cute, but it's a naughty, naughty thing," says David Levinson (Jeff Goldblum), describing the hybrid technology, that is alien technology paired with human innovation, that people all over the world have enjoyed since the War of 96 left a whole bunch of alien spacecraft smoldering on the planet. These hybrid technologies also include the "quantum warp-core vacuum" that "sucks like a black hole."
Batman v Superman Ultimate Edition Trailer Debuts New Footage
Love it or hate it, you can't say director Zack Synder wasn't going all out on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. And now, we can see just how much further he wanted to go in this new trailer for the Ultimate Edition, which debuts new footage from the extended edition of the film.
You can get both the theatrical version and the extended cut digitally on June 28, and on DVD on July 19.
BB-8 Stars in Latest LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Teaser
You could have almost predicted Star Wars: The Force Awakens being a hit with fans when everyone, and we do mean everyone, loved the new droid, BB-8. The Force Awakens was always going to be a commercial success, but the extent of it's success was made possible by the great word-of-mouth and critical reviews, and, to the instant positive reaction of new characters and, specifically, the new droid.
