The Remaining Avengers Unite in New Endgame Poster

I know we just met you and this may seem crazy, but Captain Marvel, would you make us the happiest superheroes in the galaxy and join the Avengers?

Now that Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) has made her electrifying entrance into the MCU, it appears that she is officially part of the team. A new poster for Avengers: Endgame accompanying that insane new trailer features the high-flying hero in the middle of the action. Surprisingly, the savior who has been foretold to us is not front and center. That honor goes to a fellow Captain.

Steve Rogers features most prominently on the ensemble poster. That either means wonderful or terrible things for the WWII hero. Captain America’s fate has been the most in question ahead of the release of Endgame. Chris Evans alluded to this being the last time he’ll swing his vibranium shield – then later took it back. More recently, Endgame directors the Russo Brothers shared a tribute video to the soldier. Will he triumph in the final stand against Thanos or be among the fallen? Perhaps they’re just showing off that incredible new suit that is both retro and state of the art.

Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) takes the #2 spot as one of the founding fathers of the Avengers. His storyline in the trailers is extremely bleak. Unless a miracle happens, he’ll be lost in space forever.

There does appear to be some good news here. Two-eyed Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is back! That right eye now appears to be a reddish brown. It could be a glass eye, or something more advanced. We’re rooting for a bionic sighted god of Thunder. Here’s hoping he can now shoot lasers out of his gorgeous, gorgeous peepers.

In the new hairdo category are Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner). Natasha Romanoff is rocking a badass braid for getting down to business. Clint Barton has gone full mohawk (better spied in the new trailer).

As promised in the first Endgame trailer, Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) has found his way to the Avengers hideout and joined the fight. We also welcome back Okoye (Danai Gurira), Rocket (Bradley Cooper), Nebula (Karen Gillan), War Machine (Don Cheadle), and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). This seems like a pretty formidable team, but looming large in all their minds is the greatest evil they’ve ever face – Thanos (Josh Brolin). Can what remains of Nick Fury’s dream team right this terrible wrong?
