A New No Time to Die Teaser Reveals Glimpse of next Bond Movie

We are very much looking forward to the official trailer for No Time to Die, the 25th installment in the Bond franchise, which arrives this Wednesday. We know this thanks to a new teaser, which gives us a look at co-writer and director Cary Joji Fukunaga’s upcoming film. No Time to Die sees our favorite super-spy trying out retirement (you can guess how that goes). Fukunaga will unveil the official trailer during his appearance on Good Morning America in two days. Until then, you can feast your eyes on the 14-second teaser which includes an insane motorcycle stunt and a possible glimpse at Rami Malek’s villain, seen through a glass door and wearing what appears to be a very creepy mask.

Fukunaga will not be heading to GMA alone. He’ll be joined by four members of his cast—James Bond himself, Daniel Craig, Malek, Lashana Lynch, and Léa Seydoux. Lynch plays a new character, Nomi, while Seydoux returns as Madeline Swann.

Not a ton is known about the plot for No Time to Die. The synopsis provided is bare-bones but intriguing: The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

The script was written by Fukunaga, Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, Scott Z. Burns, and the great Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

No Time to Die is due in theaters on April 8, 2020. Check out the teaser below:
