Oscar Watch: Sound Team Makes Loud Toast and Creaking Floorboards for Phantom Thread
Rarely has breakfast sounded so annoying. In Phantom Thread, which opened wide this past Friday, Daniel Day Lewis’ high-strung fashion designer Woodcock simply cannot stand it when his muse Alma (Vicky Krieps) scrapes her butter knife across a piece of toast.
