New Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer Coming October 19

It's been widely reported that the next, and last, Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer will be released next Monday, October 19. And, next Monday is also the day you can pre-order your The Force Awakens tickets for the December 18 release.

ScreenCrush and Making Star Wars are both confirming that the new and final trailer will come next Monday, with an announcement on both the trailer and the pre-ticket sales dropping about twelve hours prior. Making Star Wars believes the trailer will be released online during the day, and then hit the airwaves during the Monday Night Football game (it's the Philadelphia Eagles vs. the New York Giants, by the way).

There's more. A new Star Wars: The Force Awakens logo will be revealed as well. According to Making Star Wars: " The generic Star Wars: The Force Awakens logo will be out and the actual logo for the film will finally be revealed. We believe the new logo will be the one that we will see in the trailer and start to turn up on merchandise in the near future." So say goodbye to this:

'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Logo

Editor-in-chief of Making Star Wars, Jason Ward, has already seen the final trailer, and here's what he has to say: "This trailer is really going to be something special. I don’t want to spoil it. But I think we’re going to be very happy fans this Monday. I really think J.J. Abrams has made something special here and I’m going to sit this one out and hope that it doesn’t leak. In the past I only released the teaser descriptions to shut down the fake ones. It appears we don’t have a problem with that this time."
