Here’s When Avengers: Endgame is Coming to Disney +

You won’t have to wait too long to see Avengers: Endgame on Disney +. Considering the fact that film is currently being seen in theaters at a rate that would suggest it’s the only source of oxygen in any city or town it’s playing in, Endgame won’t be leaving the multiplex anytime soon. Yet Adam Vary of Buzzfeed News found a release date for when Endgame will stream on Disney + in an earnings report. Reason number 192,291 we need reporters, folks:

If your theater was anything like the thousands of other theaters around the world, you saw Avengers: Endgame in a packed house with lots of ambient noise. You were also, of course, unable to pause the film and marvel (pun!) at all that was happening on screen. (Spoiler alert.) For instance, when Captain America summoned Mjolnir! Then there was the moment when all our dusted superheroes returned! Or how about Tony Stark’s epic call back? The joy of being able to watch the film in the theater was all the collective excitement, the shouting, the visceral thrill of seeing something huge and era-defining with your fellow humans. The joy of watching the same film at home is being able to get up to go to the bathroom without sprinting.

Endgame will be the biggest film to hit Disney’s new streaming service by a mile, but it’ll be but one of the many titles available. Captain Marvel will start streaming on the day the service launches, November 12. Then there are all those stand-alone series Marvel has created, including one starring the new Captain America, Falcon, and his pal the Winter Soldier. Then there’s the fact that Jon Favreau’s upcoming live-action Star Wars series The Mandalorian will be available, as will every other Star Wars film.

Yet Endgame is reason enough to buy into Disney’s new streaming service. Spending some quality time with Chunky Thor and being able to actually hear all the crazy things he says (and slurs) in the film from the comfort of your own home is more than worth it.

Avengers: Endgame is in theaters now, obviously.
