Game of Thrones: Watch 1st Episode of HBO’s 7-Part Behind-the-Scenes Series Now

With the end of every season of Game of Thrones comes your own, long winter. It’s always sad saying goodbye to the drama queens and kings of Westeros, especially this season, with the end so near (and yet, the final season so far, far away).

HBO feels your pain (and enjoys your ratings), so they’ve prepared a 7-part behind-the-scenes series, diving into the nitty gritty details on what it took to make season 7.

The series, titled “The Game Revealed,” explores the production of all eight episodes in season 7. The series is available exclusively on HBO NOW, HBO NOW, HBO GO, HBO On Demand and affiliates, but the very first episode is available now, for free, on YouTube and Facebook. The following seven episodes will drop on Mondays, available to HBO subscribers.

Here’s HBO’s synospis of the series:

“The 14-minute first episode contains previously unseen footage revealing the camera tricks behind Arya’s face-changing transformation into Walder Frey, the breathtaking Spanish landscapes that served as the backdrop for Daenerys’ home of Dragonstone, and exclusive interviews with episode one director Jeremy Podeswa, prosthetics designer Barrie Gower and cast members, including Emilia Clarke and Maisie Williams, and guest star Ed Sheeran.”
