How to Make Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 at Home

One of our favorite running video series if CineFix’s “Homemade Movies,” which shows you how to make your favorite film’s costumes, props and sets at home. You would think this would be nearly impossible for a film like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which takes place on various planets and in space, and involves a huge cast of aliens and otherworldly weirdos, but the gang at CineFix is more than up to the challenge.

For the DIY set, CineFix’s team shows you how to turn your homemade items into everything from Ayesha’s (Elizabeth Dibecki) gold helmet and Star-lord’s iconic helmet to a stop-motion animation Baby Groot. It’s all very impressive. In case you're unclear on who, exactly, Ayesha is, we've got you covered.

The crew also creates these homemade remakes of your favorite movies trailers and scenes, doing a shot-for-shot remake that they create at home, without any post-production or visual effects.

To show you just how far they go to match their homemade videos with the actual trailers and scenes, they also put together this side-by-side comparison.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 arrives in theaters May 5.
