Listen to Josh Groban’s Sing Beauty and the Beast‘s “Evermore”

Disney can lay claim to having two of the most hotly anticipated films of the year—Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and Bill Condon’s live-action Beauty and the Beast. With Condon’s film hitting theaters in a little over a month, Disney has been delivering a ton of promotional material that highlights why people are going so nuts for this live-action remake of one of their most classic films.

Yesterday we shared a bit of Luke Evans and Josh Gad’s performance of “Gaston,” one of the film’s many musical numbers. Evans was on Good Morning America talking about the film, and he shared the brief but potent clip. A week earlier, we posted this piece about John Legend and Ariana Grande’s glorious take on the Beauty and the Beast theme song.

Today, we’ve got another special piece of music. It’s the soaring ballad “Evermore,” performed by the Beast (Dan Stevens) after he lets Belle (Emma Watson) leave his castle to go be with her father. The song’s origins are pretty stellar—it was written by eight-time Academy Award-winning composer Alan Menken (The Little Mermaid, Aladdin) and three-time Oscar winner Tim Rice (The Lion King, Evita). Now, listen to a snippet of “Evermore” performed by Josh Groban, a guy whose first four solo albums went multi-platinum, yet another major musician to lend his talents to the film.

Beauty and the Beast stars the aforementioned Emma Watson and Dan Stevens as your beauty and beast respectively, with an extraordinary ensemble cast surrounding them, including Emma Thompson, Ewan McGregor, Ian McKellen, Stanley Tucci, Audra McDonald and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.

Beauty and the Beast will be released in theaters on March 17.
