Check out Ghost in the Shell‘s Super Bowl Spot

Running your trailer during the Super Bowl is for big timers. There’s a reason it’s the most coveted time slot for ad buys in the year—more than 110 MILLION people tune in to watch the game. Last year’s year game, between Peyton Manning’s Denver Broncos and Cam Newton’s Carolina Panthers, drew the third largest audience in TV history with 114.4 million people tuning in.

Paramount Pictures has nabbed a spot sometime before kickoff to showcase Ghost in the Shell, featuring Scarlett Johansson (Avengers: Age of Ultron, Lucy) as Major Motoko Kusanagi. The film is directed by Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman), and is based on the famous Kodansha Comics manga series of the same name (written and illustrated by Masamune Shirow).

The film follows the Major, a one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid who leads the elite task force Section 9. Section 9 is committed to stopping the most dangerous extremists, and that means facing an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotics’ advancements in cyber technology.

The cast also includes Beat Takeshi Kitano as Daisuke Aramaki, Juliette Binoche as Dr. Ouelet, Michael Pitt as Kuze, Pilou Asbæk as Batou, and Kaori Momoi. The members of Section 9 are played by Chin Han, Danusia Samal, Lasarus Ratuere, Yutaka Izumihara and Tuwanda Manyimo.

Ghost in the Shell premieres on March 31. Check out their big game spot below:
