The Magnificent Seven Character Vignettes

The town of Rose Creek is under the control of sinister industrialist Bartholomew Bogue (Peter Sarsgaard—always a great villain), so the townspeople seek help from seven outlaws, bounty hunters, gamblers and hired guns to help them wrest control of their fate from this brutal madman. Yes, The Magnificent Seven is a remake of a remake of a remake, but as we've been saying all along, we're betting that director Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, The Equalizer) and this cast can do justice to the great 1960 John Sturges film, which itself was a remake of Akira Kurosawa's classic Seven Samurai.

Your seven outlaws are as follows; Sam Chisolm (Denzel Washington) is the bounty hunter, Josh Farraday (Chris Pratt) is the gambler, Goodnight Robicheaux (Ethan Hawke) is the sharpshooter, Jack Horne (Vincent D’Onofrio) is the tracker, Billy Rocks (Byung-Hun Lee) is the assassin, Vasquez (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) is the outlaw, and Red Harvest (Martin Sensmeier) is the warrior. This seven will need to come together to beat not only Bogue, but the huge, hired army he's amassed.

Sony Pictures has put together five character vignettes thus far (we're still waiting on Washington's bounty hunter and Pratt's gambler vignettes) which you can check out below.

The Magnificent Seven hits theaters on September 23.
