New International Trailer for Ghostbusters Includes Freaky Mannequin

This new international trailer for Ghostbusters that Sony Pictures Japan just dropped gives us even more reason to be excited. We've already written about the largely hysterical (and not in a good way) reaction to an earlier trailer for the film, and why we remain very excited about the July 15th release. You've got a great director in Paul Feig (with a script he co-wrote with Kate Dippold), and you've got four of the funniest women working today as your Ghostbusters; Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon. Hell, even Ghostbusters alum Dan Aykroyd has weighed in on the new film—he loved it. Granted, he's an executive producer on the film, but one wants to give Aykroyd the benefit of the doubt and believe him when he says this: “As originator of the original: Saw test screening of new movie. Apart from brilliant, genuine performances from the cast both female and male, it has more laughs and more scares than the first 2 films plus Bill Murray is in it! As one of millions of man-fans and Ray Stantz, I’m paying to see that and bringing all my friends!”

This latest trailer simply reinforces our belief that this is going to be a good film. There are a few solid lines, some great special effects, and the joy of seeing four seriously funny women doing what they do best. So relax, haters, and try and give the film a chance before denouncing it. Also, the possessed mannequin chasing Leslie Jones is legitimately creepy.
