Imagine spending Christmas with Bill Murray. Now imagine spending Christmas with Bill Murray while he sings, dances, and generally radiates his essential Murray-ness with George Clooney, Miley Cyrus, Chris Rock and more. Stop imagining, it’s happening. Netflix’s expands it’s original offerings this winter with this Christmas special, A Very Murray Christmas, with the man himself starring in a musically-driven holiday special set inside New York City’s iconic Carlyle hotel.

The conceit is tidy: Murray’s preparing to host a live, international holiday broadcast but production is shuttered by a blizzard. Being Murray, he makes the best of the situation by singing and celebrating with friends (his friends are, naturally, famous), hotel employees and anyone else who might pop by.
