The Iron Giant: Signature Edition Re-Entering Theaters With 2 New Scenes

Yahoo! Movies! gives us this glimpse of Brad Bird's (The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol) 1999 classic The Iron Giant, now being re-released into theaters after getting remastered, including the addition two all-new scenes. The Iron Giant was two-time Oscar winner Brad Bird's debut, and is the story of an unlikely friendship between a rebellious boy named Hogarth (voiced by Eli Marienthal) and a giant robot, voiced by a little-known actor at the time named Vin Diesel. The Iron Giant went on to win nine Annie Awards, launching Bird's now legendary career. The voice cast also included Jennifer Aniston, Harry Connick Jr., James Gammon, Cloris Leachman, Christopher McDonald and John Mahoney.
