New IMAX Poster for Avengers: Infinity War May Reveal Where Ant-Man is Hiding

Avengers: Infinity War will be hitting theaters in three weeks, and fans are anxious to see more than 20 of their favorite super heroes finally team up to defeat the ultimate villain, Thanos. However, as promotional materials are being released, fans are beginning to speculate about the absence of two heroes, Hawkeye and Ant-Man.

Fans noticed last month that Hawkeye is missing from the promotional poster and have since made-up for his absence with their own Hawkeye-centric poster. However, that doesn’t make up for the fact that Ant-Man has also been mysteriously absent from promotional photos. Even though Ant-Man has not been confirmed to be in the movie, fans think they may have found him. He’s just hiding, which is pretty easy to do when you can shrink down to the size of an ant.

One fan, Reddit user TopherGray, did a very thorough analysis of the new Avengers: Infinity War IMAX poster, which is full of Easter eggs, and may have found the ant-sized hero. TopherGray posted a photo of the hi-res IMAX poster and zoomed in incredibly close. If you squint—really hard—you can see what looks to be an Ant-Man shaped figure in the very top left corner of “A” just below Black Widow’s (Scarlett Johansson) shoulder.

While the Russo Brother has confirmed both Ant-Man and his partner, the Wasp, will appear in Avengers 4, they haven’t confirmed whether the team’s smallest member will be making an appearance in Infinity War. The last we saw of Ant-Man was in Captain America: Civil War fighting on Team Cap. It would be great to see Scott offer his unique abilities in the fight against Thanos—because let’s be honest they’ll need all the help they can get.

Fans can also anticipate his return in Ant-Man and the Wasp which will be out in theaters July 6. Avengers: Infinity War blasts into theaters on April 27. Tickets are available now.
