Amazing Fan Art Shows Captain Marvel Rising From the Flames

Fan art alert! Where would the world be without artists and fan art to satisfy us until official promotion are released. First by curing us of Hawkeye withdrawals we were experiencing as there was an archer shaped hole in all our hearts when the official Avengers: Infinity War poster was released minus the S.H.I.E.L.D. archer.

Now, new fan art has popped up of Captain Marvel, to help placate fans who are anticipating the release of Marvel’s upcoming film starring Brie Larson. The film officially began shooting this week, but so far the Russo brothers, who are directing the film, and the studio have kept many details about the film under wraps—including the official costume. While we do have a confirmed cast list—including some of our favorite characters coming back from the dead—the studio hasn’t let us see much when it comes to what everyone will look like.

But fear not, for fan art exists! The Russo Brothers recently shared on their twitter a fan art poster of Brie Larson, who stars as Captain Marvel, literally coming out of the flames. Prolific movie fan and artist Boss Logic produced this piece. The artwork is amazing and while there is no confirmation about what Captain Marvel’s costume will look like, we wouldn’t be too upset if it looked like this. This amazing artwork is also director approved by the Russo Brothers. The fan art is also exciting fans who are anticipating their first glimpse of Captain Marvel in Avengers: Infinity Wars, who is rumored to make her first appearance in the film.

Captain Marvel will be the MCU’s first female led solo superhero movie as well as the first film that will take place in a timeline before the establishment of the Avengers. The film is set in 1990’s, when Captain America is still on ice and Tony Stark is just a privileged rich kid. The plot centers on Carol Danvers (Larson) and her journey to becoming of the greatest superheroes of all time.

The film will also star Jude Law, Ben Mendelsohn, and Gemma Chan. Samuel L. Jackson us also expected to make an appearance as Nick Fury.
