Check out Finn’s new Blaster From Star Wars: The Last Jedi

The new blaster that Finn (John Boyega) picks up in Star Wars: The Last Jedi is a choice piece of protection. Boyega showed off his new weapon on his Instagram page (apparently writer/director Rian Johnson let him take the prop home with him), and it's a beauty of practical design. It's also probably a good thing that Finn is using a blaster in the new film—his work with a lightsaber in The Force Awakens was…amateurish.

While most of the details of Johnson's continuation of the Skywalker saga are being held tightly under wraps, we have recently written about some character reveals, the revelation that some of the action takes place in the city of Canto Bight, all of which was thanks to the large spready Vanity Fair put together, with four different Last Jedi related covers

As we inch closer to the film's December 15 release date, we'll get some more details (including trailers and teasers), but for now we'll have to make do with the little morsels the film's stars provide, and for a Tuesday after a holiday weekend, we'll take a blaster where we can get one.

Proud owner of Finn's blaster ! Thanks to @riancjohnson !
