Check out the new Rogue One Spot
"Reckless and undisciplined," is how your hero Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) is described at the start of this new Rogue One: A Star Wars Story TV spot. Her cheeky reply tells you a lot about her character—"This is a rebellion, isn't it?"
It's because of that defiant charm that many Star Wars fans, especially all of us who loved the pluck of Princess Leia, that Rogue One is such a welcome addition to the Star Wars world. And, the film marks the second new chapter in this galaxies spanning saga that focuses on a strong young woman at the center of the action, after Daisy Ridley's Rey lit up the screen in The Force Awakens.
There are a couple of fresh shots in this new promo, with the thrust of it belonging to the relationship between Jyn Erso and Diego Luna's Captain Cassian Andor. It looks like he's her number two as they embark on their mission to steal the Death Star plans. The cast includes Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, with Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on December 16.
