Director Gore Verbinski’s Back With the Creepy A Cure for Wellness

Director Gore Verbinski knows his way around a horror film. The man behind the American adaptation of The Ring is is back with A Cure for Wellness, horror about an ambitious young executive who's sent to retrieve his company’s CEO from a wellness center at a remote location in the Swiss Alps. You can imagine this wellness center will provided anything but. He soon figures out that the spa’s miraculous treatments are not at all what they seem, and before he knows it, he's a patient at the center, diagnosed with the same weird illness that keeps all the other guests behind lock and key. 

The film stars Dane DeHaan (Life), Jason Isaacs (Green Zone), and Mia Goth (Nymphomaniac). Verbinski has reteamed with his go-to director of photography Bojan Bazelli (The Ring and The Lone Ranger), and he shot the film last year in Germany.

A Cure for Wellness theaters on February 17, 2017.
