Peek Inside The Magical Briefcase in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

"My heroes are always people who feel themselves to be set apart, stigmatized, or othered," says J.K. Rowling at the beginning of this Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them featurette. "That's at the heart of most of what I write. That's certainly at the heart of this movie." If there ever was a more apt time for such a spirit to imbue a major motion picture like Fantastic Beasts, now's that time.

In this featurette, we get a look inside magic zoologist Newt Scamander’s (Eddie Redmayne) case, the realm where the fantastic beasts of the title live. "He feels more at home with creatures than he does with human beings," says Redmayne. One of the things we find out in the video is how Newt's beasts escape, and we get a glimpse of the adventure that Newt and his friends are plunged into once those beasts are out into the world. With a cast that includes Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler, and Colin Farrell, Fantastic Beasts will likely be a welcome addition to the Potter-verse, from the first ever script from Rowling herself.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be released into the wild this November.
