Independence Day: Resurgence Drops Creepy new TV Spot

This new Independence Day: Resurgence TV spot has a few creepy things going on it for, not the least of which is the return of weirdo Dr. Brackish Okun, and his hair, played by Brent Spiner. "They're not screaming, they're celebrating," Dr. Okun says of the small, squealing aliens being kept in glass pens (never a good idea, folks) by their human masters. If you thought the destruction in the original Independence Day was over the top, it appears the new crop of aliens coming back to Earth view the 1996 attack as merely an opening act. Also, if you thought Dr. Okun died in the original (it sure looked like he did), we can't wait to hear how, and why, the good doctor was able to survive an alien controlling him with a tentacle around his neck—the very same fate that befalls another beloved Independence Day character in the below TV spot.
