Pre-Sale Tickets Soar, Plus a New Batman v Superman Behind-the-Scenes Featurette
As the March 25 premiere date for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice inches closer, things are starting to look pretty good for Zack Snyder's film. With so much riding on this battle between the bat of Gotham and the God of Metropolis (it cost a lot and it's the big set-up for the DC Films slate, including two upcoming Justice League movies and a solo Batman film), it has to come as a relief that the advance ticket sales are doing gonzo business. In fact, Deadline reports that Batman v Superman is currently outpacing the pre-sales of three mega blockbusters; The Avengers, Furious 7 and Deadpool.
This behind-the-scenes featurette shows, once again, that the central premise is very strong, while also withholding what we assume will be a late second act reveal of the real bad guy in the film (no, it's not Batman), the arrival of Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) and the beginning of the Justice League.
