Watch the Thrilling New Star Wars: The Force Awakens TV Spot

"I have lived long enough to see the same eyes in different people" begins the brand new TV spot for The Force Awakens. And this isn't just a re-cut of the images we've seen before—here we get to see Daisy Ridley in proper ass-kicking mode, as this TV spot puts our heroine Rey at the very center of the action, and suggests this voice over (which we've read on The Verge is delivered by Academy Award-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o, who plays Maz Kanata) is directed at Rey. When Rey reaches down to help pick up Finn (John Boyega) and says "follow me," sure she sounds a young woman who's stepping into her fated role, and perhaps those same eyes she looks at Finn with were once looking at a scared Luke, compelling him to join the fight.

Like the Japanese trailer, this TV spot is another unexpected, awesome jolt and a reminder, as if we needed one, that December 18 can't come soon enough.
