Facebook said in today’s announcement that a number of publishers are sharing new 360 videos on Facebook today. In addition to Star Wars, they include: Discovery, GoPro, LeBron James & Uninterrupted, NBC’s Saturday Night Live, and Vice.

The Star Wars: The Force Awakens video allows Facebook users to fly over the surface of desert planet Jakku, exploring every angle from the cruiser while in flight. Users can control everything they want to see, as if they were a droid on the back of Rey's speeder. You can turn 360 degrees to catch every element of your surrounding as you fly over and inspecting the debris from the crashed Imperial Star Destroyer as seen in Trailer 2 through their mouse/mouse pad.

If you pay close attention, you might even hear our new favorite droid. Enjoy the ride.
