Motion Picture Association Statement on the Congressional American Film & TV Production Caucus

WASHINGTON — Representatives Brian Jack (GA-03), Laura Friedman (CA-30), Nathaniel Moran (TX-01), Linda Sánchez (CA-38), Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11), and Tom Suozzi (NY-03) today founded the Congressional American Film & TV Production Caucus to strengthen and increase film production across the United States. The following is a statement from MPA Chairman and CEO Charles Rivkin: 

“With the launch of the Congressional American Film & TV Production Caucus, momentum continues to build toward what would be a true gamechanger for the film and television industry – a federal production incentive that would deliver immediate jobs and economic growth to all 50 states. Representatives Jack, Friedman, Moran, Sánchez, Malliotakis, and Suozzi have been unwavering champions of this cause, knowing what production can mean for communities nationwide and for our country’s global competitiveness.
