
Okke Delfos Visser
Okke Delfos Visser is the Senior Vice President, Associate General Counsel, International where he leads Legal Affairs for the EMEA region and has responsibility for elements of the MPA global content protection strategy. Okke oversees the EMEA legal department and works with a team of counsels globally on international legal and policy issues affecting the MPA. He’s been in legal affairs positions in the audiovisual sector for two decades.
Okke’s previous job experience includes working as the head of legal for organizations like BREIN and in-house counsel at Buma/Stemra in the Netherlands before he joined the MPA in 2009. His career started as an IP lawyer in an Amsterdam law firm, with a focus on copyright and media law.
Okke pursued his legal education at Leiden University for his Bachelor’s degree, followed by a Master’s degree at the University of Amsterdam. He also gained expertise in Patent law and Trademarks at the University of Texas at Austin.
