Film School Friday: Black Boys

October 2, 2020

4:00 PM ET | 1:00 PM PT

The Motion Picture Association and Peacock co-hosted a special edition of Film School Friday, featuring a conversation about the Peacock original documentary Black Boys.

From writer/director Sonia Lowman, Black Boys illuminates the full spectrum of humanity for Black boys and men in America through an intimate, intergenerational conversation at the intersection of sports, education, and criminal justice.

In this panel discussion, Sonia joins Black Boys producer Jon-Thomas Royston, former My Brother’s Keeper Executive Director Conan Harris, and MPA’s Vice President of External and Multicultural Affairs John Gibson to discuss the making and importance of this timely, intimate, and powerful film.
