Statement from Charles Rivkin on USMCA Progress
WASHINGTON – The Motion Picture Association released the following statement from Chairman and CEO Charles Rivkin on the news that House Democrats and the U.S. Trade Representative had reached an agreement on advancing the US-Mexico-Canada trade agreement:
“Yesterday’s announcement was an important step toward passing the USMCA. The USMCA’s provisions to strengthen copyright protections and enforcement will benefit the U.S. motion picture and television industry and support American jobs. We commend the Administration, House Leadership, and members of the Democratic working group for this important development and look forward to reviewing the details of the final agreement.”
