A Great Production…About Production in Georgia

March 28, 2019

Georgia is home to some of the most expansive productions in the film and television industry today, supporting more than 92,000 local jobs.

Just some examples of economic contributions to the state from 2018 productions include $63 million from Disney/Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and The Wasp and $33 million from Universal’s First Man.

Now, the Georgia Film Office has produced a new video highlighting the production environment, incentives, and creative workforce available in the state. It’s an entertaining and compelling look at how Georgia is supporting storytelling.

As more and more great stories are told, there are tremendous opportunities for creators and communities to welcome film and television productions and the enormous economic benefits they bring.
