Statement from MPAA CEO Charles Rivkin on the Confirmation of FCC Chairman Ajit Pai

WASHINGTON – The following is a statement from Charles Rivkin, CEO of the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), on the reconfirmation of Ajit Pai as Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

“The MPAA congratulates Ajit Pai on his confirmation to continue serving as Chairman of the FCC. Over the course of nine years of service at the FCC, including five as a commissioner and now as Chairman, Pai has witnessed the explosion of creative content across a wide variety of digital platforms and devices. He is well positioned to promote creativity, innovation, and sound communications policy.
