MPAA Statement on the Swearing-in of Dr. Carla Hayden as Librarian of Congress

WASHINGTON – The following is a statement from MPAA Chairman and CEO Senator Chris Dodd on the swearing-in of Dr. Carla Hayden as Librarian of Congress:

“We congratulate Dr. Carla Hayden as she begins her tenure as the fourteenth Librarian of Congress. Dr. Hayden’s experience and vision will serve the Library well as the repository of American intellect, culture, and history.  We look forward to working closely with her to protect and promote our nation’s collective wisdom and creativity.”
