Los Angeles – The MPA and Warner Bros. Entertainment opened the 5th Annual China International Co-Production Film Screenings tonight with a reception and screening of “Wolf Totem” at Warner Bros. Studios in Los Angeles with special guest, Mao Yu, Deputy Director General of the China Film Bureau.

The event celebrated the growing relationship between the American and Chinese film and television industries, which continues to stimulate economic growth and increase cultural awareness. Before the screening, the event’s attendees heard from Kevin Tsujihara, Chairman and CEO of Warner Bros. Entertainment; MPAA Chairman and CEO Senator Chris Dodd, and the China Film Bureau’s Mao Yu.

“Tonight, we celebrate the many opportunities created when the American and Chinese film industries work together,” said Kevin Tsujihara, Chairman and CEO, Warner Bros. “These interactions help build relationships, strengthen economic ties, and increase awareness of our nations’ two cultures.”
