Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is Coming in 17 Days

In just 17 days on May 5, Marvel will release writer/director James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and in case you weren’t aware that the galactic gang is back, they’ve released a few new promos to jog your memory. One was released by Groot himself (Vin Diesel) on his Facebook page. We've been jazzed up about Gunn's sequel for quite some time, sharing with you this story about the man who plays Rocket (voiced by Bradley Cooper) during production, looked at the men behind the comics that turned these unlikely heroes into Marvel's latest blockbuster franchise, and much more. Now with only 17 days until the premiere, you can be sure Marvel is going to be releasing promos and teasers like the ones we've embedded below to get us prepared.

The whole gang returns for Vol. 2, including Star-lord himself, Chris Pratt (Jurassic World, Parks and Recreation), Zoe Saldana (Avatar, Star Trek) as Gamora, Dave Bautista (SPECTRE) as Drax, Vin Diesel (xXx, Furious 7) as the voice of Baby Groot, Bradley Cooper (Joy, American Sniper) as the voice of Rocket, the aforementioned Michael Rooker (Slither, Jumper) as Yondu and Karen Gillan (Doctor Who, The Big Short) as Nebula. New cast members include Drax’s love interest, Mantis, played by Pom Klementieff (Oldboy), the aforementioned Elizabeth Debicki (The Great Gatsby, Everest) as the gold-hued Ayesha, and Kurt Russell (The Hateful Eight, Furious 7) as Ego, the Living Planet.
