Own Spidey’s Mask From Captain America: Civil War & Spider-Man: Homecoming With Shutter Eyes

If your spider-sense is tingling right now, it’s just because this new fan-made mask is dangerously cool.

For years, Spider-Man’s mask with ever-moving eyes was a staple of the comic books and animated productions, but it wasn’t until Captain America: Civil War in 2016 that viewers got a glimpse at a live-action mechanical mask. It looks like Spider-Man: Homecoming is following suit.

Now, fans can own a similar mask themselves—one that could even give Tony Stark a run for his money. By opening and closing their mouth, wearers of this mask can trigger the eyes to widen and squint. Check it out here.

Lenses Factory HK previously designed and created a six-piece Spider-Man suit, complete with gloves, boots, and mechanical lens mask for personal cosplay, before deciding to sell the mechanical masks to the public. The suit took two weeks to create and the mechanical lenses took another nine months, all using screen-printed fabrics and completed with puffy paint to give off the signature web-like appearance.

In the past, Lenses Factory HK has sold other variations of the famous Spidey mask, though this is the first model with any movement.

Lenses plans on selling a limited number of masks via web (pun very much intended) beginning April 2, giving plans plenty of time to order and perfect their web-shooting before Spider-Man: Homecoming reaches theaters July 7.
