Avengers 4 to Feature Evangeline Lilly’s the Wasp

You knew a lot of headlines were going to come out of New York's Comic-Con, and here's a juicy one for you; Evangeline Lilly told Blastr that her Wasp will be appearing in Avengers 4. Lilly was at Comic-Con discussing the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp, where she revealed to Blastr that the script has been finished and is awaiting studio approval. She said that she's gleaned a bit about where the film is heading, which will be an origin story of the Wasp, which, like Wonder Woman, this is a character fans have longed to see on screen.

The two upcoming Avengers films will arrive in back-to-back years, in 2018 and 2019. Lilly's big reveal is that'll she be showing up in the second Avengers film. Ant-Man and the Wasp won't arrive until 2018, therefore introducing the Wasp in an already very busy film like the Avengers makes little sense. She deserves more screen time before joining the whole gang. This explains why Doctor Strange wasn't in Civil War.
