Here’s What Thor & The Hulk Were Doing During Captain America: Civil War

One question that always nagged at us while we watched Captain America: Civil War was where in the heck Thor and the Hulk were during all of this? They would have made a huge impact on the film’s titular battle, right? And while there were plenty of good reasons that it wouldn't have made sense to include the Hulk (screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely told Entertainment Weekly that once the Hulk picked a side, it would be game over), where in the world (or the universe) was Thor?

For Comic-Con attendees this year, this burning question was answered, but the rest of us weren’t clued in…until now. Marvel Studios has finally released the mockumentary they showed during this year's con to the rest of us, and it's fantastic. Created by Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi, the mockumentary finally discloses what the God of Thunder (Chris Hemsworth) and Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffuola) were up to while the rest of The Avengers were duking it out in Captain America: Civil War. You might be surprised by how they chose to use their time. Also, it's really time Thor got a phone.
