Universal Releases Bridget Jones’s Baby Trailer

Universal just released the official trailer for Bridget Jones's Baby, starring Renee Zellweger, Colin Firth, and Patrick Dempsey and directed by Sharon Maguire. This is the third installment of the romantic comedy series, and as it must, it raises the stakes in Bridget's perpetually zany life to the level of child rearing. Bridget has recently met Jack (Dempsey), a handsome American who she has a passionate night with. Not long after, she sleeps with Mark (Firth), an old flame. You see where this is going. Paternity's the big question that sets this comedy into motion, with a lot of talent to help the story along, including Jim Broadbent, Emma Thompson (who co-wrote the script), Shirley Henderson and Sarah Solemani. 

Bridget Jones's Baby is due in theaters on September 16.
