This Animated The Nice Guys Trailer is Awesome

You have to hand it to the whole The Nice Guys marketing team, their teasers, trailers and fake rants leading up to today's release have been fantastic. Even the packaging for their soundtrack was inspired (we spoke to the folks who did it). So it's not surprising that their new animated trailer captures the sleezy, breezy 1970s setting perfectly, with the super saturated colors and Scooby-Doo like animation you want and need. Shane Black's buddy caper, starring Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe, is already a critical darling, and with an inspired marketing campaign, who knows, it might become a commercial hit as well.
