Watch Daisy Ridley’s Jedi Training for Star Wars: Episode VIII
Daisy Ridley's Rey was already showing some pretty impressive Jedi skills by the end of J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens. She'd already defeated the dark side's most ferocious young warrior in Kylo Ren, and she had tracked down legendary Jedi Luke Skywalker to, presumably, continue that training.

However now Ridley has shared some of her more serious preparation via Instagram with this a behind-the-scenes look at her Jedi training for writer/director Rian Johnson's Episode VIII. Not only does Ridley look even more proficient with her staff, she's also training with the man who was inside the suit of everyone's favorite pissed off Stormtrooper (sorry, Finn), TR-8R! That's right, Liang Yang, a veteran stunt performer, was the man behind the baton spinning riot control Stormtrooper.
