Check out the First Footage of Wonder Woman in Action

You probably already know that Wonder Woman, played by Israeli actress Gal Gadot, has a pretty decently sized part in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of JusticeWhile her involvement in the film was always known, we finally got to see her in action, briefly, in the most recent trailer. And ironically, when she arrives it wasn't Superman (Henry Cavill) whose hide she saves at the nick of time, but Batman's (Ben Affleck).

Now we get to see Wonder Woman in all her glory in her own film. Last night on The CW's "DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League,” host Kevin Smith and DC Comics chief creative officer Geoff Johns gave us a sneak peak of Wonder Woman, delving into her origin story, powers, and a few moments of her using her Amazonian prowess to kick butt. Johns, director Patty Jenkins and stars Gal Gadot and Chris Pine all speak about the long awaited arrival of one of the most powerful superheroes of them all. Johns explains that unlike Batman and Superman, Wonder Woman's origin story has never been told on screen before, despite her 75 year reign as one of the most beloved, and powerful, superheroes of them all.
