Problemista

Tonight, the Motion Picture Association and A24 co-hosted a screening of the comedy film, Problemista. Remarks were given by Josh Rogin, Senior Vice President of Federal Affairs of the Motion Picture Association, Joaquin Castro, Representative from Texas in the United States Congress, and Julio Torres, Lead Actor and Director of Problemista.

From the film’s official site:

“Alejandro is an aspiring toy designer from El Salvador, struggling to bring his unusual ideas to life in New York City. As time on his work visa runs out, a job assisting an erratic art-world outcast becomes his only hope to stay in the country and realize his dream.”
