Meet The Streamers

Tonight, the Streaming Innovation Alliance hosted a Meet the Streamers panel conversation and reception/watch party, with support from the Motion Picture Association, Warner Bros. Discovery, and Paramount.

Rep. Fred Upton, Former U.S. Representative from Michigan and Senior Advisor at the Streaming Innovation Alliance, and Mignon Clyburn, Former FCC Commissioner and Senior Advisor at the Streaming Innovation Alliance, provided opening remarks.

Following remarks, Greg Saphier, Senior Vice President of External Affairs at the Motion Picture Association; Michael Maponga, CEO of AfroLandTV; Mann Robinson, Founder of Mann Robinson Studios; Marta Kirsis, Vice President of Streaming Strategy at Paramount; and Zuraya Tapia-Hadley, Senior Director of Government Affairs at TelevisaUnivision, joined to discuss the new era of creativity, opportunity, and diversity in content on streaming platforms.

As stated on the Steaming Innovation Alliance’s official site:

“We are the united voice of the streaming community – driving a new era of creativity, opportunity, diversity, value, and choice in home and mobile entertainment. We’re fighting for smart policies that will continue to meet audiences where they are and propel streaming innovation forward.”
